At the beginning of 2022, The Madrid Edition hotel opened its doors in the heart of the Spanish capital, a few metres from the Puerta del Sol. This hotel, owned by the Marriot hotel group, is the second hotel in Spain under the Edition brand, after the Edition Barcelona, in which Frapont also participated. A unique project with a perfect blend of contemporary design and sophisticated, personalised service.
The Madrid Edition has 177 rooms, 21 suites and 2 penthouses with an elegant, modern and detailed decoration by designer Ian Schrager. Frapont has worked to materialize its project for the furniture and equipment (FF&E) of the rooms, manufacturing and installing more than 227 beds, 431 bedside tables, 63 stools, 112 sofas and more than 340 mirrors with curved frames made of CNC machined solid timber.
The hotel edition is a project with a large number of elements, but we were able to fulfill the size of the order and deliver all the work on time for the proper opening of the establishment. It is worth highlighting the amount of work carried out by the design and production department in the search for technical solutions in the combination of the different types of materials used in the manufacturing of the several items, as well as the prototyping and sampling efforts to provide the best solutions to the client.
