With the aim of centralizing the various departments of the Generalitat de Catalunya in a single complex, the acclaimed Barcelona firm Batlle i Roig has designed the Administrative Campus of the Generalitat de Catalunya, located in Barcelona’s Zona Franca district.
The complex, distributed in two towers connected by a common floor that links the two, is the first LEED PLATINUM-certified building in Catalonia, as well as being the largest WELL-certified office complex in Europe.
Within this work, and following the maximum requirements of comfort and well-being, Frapont has developed, manufactured and installed most of the technical doors of the building, different types of acoustic wood cladding and more than 1,600 upholstered waves, located in the different common areas and work rooms, as well as in the auditorium, where we have developed both the cladding of the walls and the ceiling.
Other works we have carried out have been the fixed furniture in the work rooms, and the curved benches and work booths in the common areas, combining wood and upholstered elements for better acoustic comfort.
Frapont is proud to participate in this project and contribute with our experience, quality and commitment to the welfare of workers in this first project in Barcelona.
