Discover Frapont’s expert craftsmanship at NVM Hospital in Malmö, a project completed in collaboration with the construction giant Skanska. This initiative showcases our specialized skills in wooden wall cladding, which enhance the aesthetic and functional qualities of the hospital’s common areas, reception, and lobby.
For this project, we selected FSC® certified wood, in keeping with our commitment to sustainable forestry practices. Our work encompassed more than 5,000 square meters of meticulously installed wall cladding. Each installation was carried out with precision, ensuring that every detail met our rigorous standards for quality and sustainability.
We treated all wood used in the project with advanced mechanical processes to boost its durability and suitability for the high-traffic conditions of the hospital. These processes help maintain the integrity and beauty of the wood throughout its lifespan.
Precision in the manufacturing and installation of each component has been crucial to meet the project’s expectations. From fireproofing impregnation to the replacement of anodized aluminum profiles with powder-coated metal profiles, every detail has been considered to ensure safety, aesthetics, and long-term functionality.
